1. After washing hair, towel dry to remove excess water. 
2. Plug tool into an electrical outlet and the three buttons will illuminate (the tool has not yet started heating).
3. Press and hold the power icon button for 3-5 seconds to turn the tool ON.
4. The air temperature will default to the lowest setting (1 light = low/175°F), and the fan speed will default to the lowest setting (1 light = low).
5. To select a different fan speed press the fan icon button to cycle to your desired speed. (2 lights = medium, 3 lights = high).
6. To select a different air temperature, press the heat icon button to cycle to your desired temperature (2 lights = medium/215°F, 3 lights = high/245°F).
7. After 5 seconds, the buttons will lock and the lights will turn from white to red.
8. Press and hold either the fan icon or heat icon button for 3-5 seconds to unlock the tool.
9. The lights will turn white and the fan or heat setting (whichever button was used to unlock the tool) will automatically move to the next highest setting upon unlocking.
10. To turn ON the heated plate, press and cycle the fan icon button to OFF (No lights are illuminated).
11. The heat icon button will now control the plate temperature instead of the air temperature. 
12. The plate temperature will default to the lowest setting (1 light = low/280°F).
13. To select a different plate temperature, press the heat icon button to cycle to your desired temperature (2 lights = medium/355°F, 3 lights = high/430°F). The heat icon button will blink while the plate is heating up and turn solid once the desired plate temperature is reached. 
14. Control the intensity of the heat and airflow coming out of the hollow center bristles, with the “Bristle” slider switch, located at the top of the tool. Slide the switch to “No Air” to close the hollow center bristles vent (air and heat will still flow, but at a reduced rate directly to the scalp). Slide the switch to “Air” to open the hollow center bristles vent.
15. Begin styling once hair is approximately 70% dry and detangled. 
16. Apply your L’ange heat protectant of choice.
17. Working with a manageable section, begin by brushing over the top of the hair near the roots. And then place the straightening blow dryer brush underneath the hair to brush out the strands.. 
18. Brush hair in downward motion at a moderate pace.
19. Once you’re finished styling, turn off tool by pressing and holding the power icon button for 3-5 seconds.
20.  Unplug the straightening blow dryer brush and wait until completely cooled before storing away in a dry place.

Straightening Only Operating Instructions: To activate the straightening only function (no airflow), press the fan icon button until the light is 1 click past the 3rd fan speed setting. All fan speed lights and the motor will turn off.

Brush Drying Only Operating Instructions: To activate the brush drying only function, press the heat icon button until the light is 1 click past the 3rd heat setting. All heat setting lights and the heated plates will turn off.
