Designed for all hair types and lengths, our Le Duo Classic in the Standard size may be preferred by those with shoulder length hair or shorter and Le Duo Classic in the Grande size by those with hair that falls below the shoulders.

How To

Start with hair that is detangled and completely dry.
Apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice.
Clip hair up and away, to work in smaller, more manageable sections.
Plug the tool into an electrical outlet.
The temperature gauge light will be illuminated and flashing (the tool has not yet started heating).
Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds to turn the tool ON.
Press the same button until the LED lights reach your desired temperature.
Once it reaches the set temperature, the fan will turn on automatically and the light will stop flashing (within 2 min).
If preferred, press the fan button to turn the fan off and style without it.
Once finished, press and hold the power button to turn the tool OFF.
Lights will continue to blink until the tool is unplugged.
Unplug the tool and wait until it has completely cooled before storing away.

To Curl:

You may style with the base pointed up or down, depending on your preference.
Holding the tool, squeeze the clip to open the plates.
Insert a 1" section of hair toward the bottom of the plates, beginning near the roots.
Those with shoulder length hair or longer may want to start the curls at the mid-shaft.
Twist the tool in your preferred direction while sliding down your hair and maintaining consistent pressure.
The more you twist, the more defined your curls will be.

To Straighten:

Holding the tool parallel with the floor, squeeze the clip to open the plates.
When straightening bangs or ends, insert a 1" section of hair where desired.
With your free hand, grasp the cool tip, maintain consistent pressure, and slide the tool in a downward motion.

When curling your hair with Le Duo Classic, the section of hair that just passed through the heated titanium plates is immediately bathed in the cool air, helping to close the cuticle and lock the curl in place so it lasts longer.

3. Is there a correct way to curl with Le Duo Classic? Le Duo Classic is versatile and adaptable! There isn’t just one “correct” way to use it. We suggest finding the technique that works best for you! After inserting the hair and rotating 180 degrees, you can point the iron up or down, and either push or pull to create waves or curls.

4. Can you straighten hair with Le Duo Classic? Yes, you can straighten hair with Le Duo Classic. Like a traditional flat iron, Le Duo Classic has floating titanium plates intended for straightening. With your free hand, grasp the tip of the iron, maintain consistent pressure, and slide the tool in a downward motion. Le Duo is intended to be a 2-in-1 straightener and curler, although most customers primarily use it for curling hair.

5. How to get my curls to last? Long-lasting curls come down to four key steps: prep, section size, heat, and setting. Prep: Before styling each section, apply a thermal protectant plus a product that offers hold (like a light hairspray or setting spray). Section Size: Work in smaller sections no larger than the diameter of the tool for consistent, defined curls. Heat Choice: If curls aren’t holding, increase the heat slightly—always with a protectant applied. Cooling & Setting: Use the built-in fan to cool each curl in place and finish with a mist of hairspray to lock in your style. With the right prep and technique, your curls will look polished and last all day.
