 How To
  1. Start with hair that is detangled and completely dry.
  2. Apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice.
  3. Clip hair up and away, to work in smaller, more manageable sections.
  4. Plug the tool into an electrical outlet.
  5. The temperature gauge light will be illuminated and flashing (the tool has not yet started heating).
  6. Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds to turn the tool ON.
  7. Press the same button until the LED lights reach your desired temperature.
  8. Once it reaches the set temperature, the fan will turn on automatically and the light will stop flashing (within 2 min).
  9. If preferred, press the fan button to turn the fan off and style without it.
  10. Once finished, press and hold the power button to turn the tool OFF.
  11. Lights will continue to blink until the tool is unplugged.
  12. Unplug the tool and wait until it has completely cooled before storing away.

To Curl:

  1. You may style with the base pointed up or down, depending on your preference.
  2. Holding the tool, squeeze the clip to open the plates.
  3. Insert a 1" section of hair toward the bottom of the plates, beginning near the roots.
  4. Those with shoulder length hair or longer may want to start the curls at the mid-shaft.
  5. Twist the tool in your preferred direction while sliding down your hair and maintaining consistent pressure.
  6. The more you twist, the more defined your curls will be.

To Straighten:

  1. Holding the tool parallel with the floor, squeeze the clip to open the plates.
  2. When straightening bangs or ends, insert a 1" section of hair where desired.
  3. With your free hand, grasp the cool tip, maintain consistent pressure, and slide the tool in a downward motion.

The Grande Le Duo Classic has 5.3-inch-long titanium plates, while the Standard Le Duo Classic has 3.5-inch-long titanium plates. The extra-long plates on the Grande Le Duo Classic are for people with longer hair, so they can catch more hair for less passes and heat exposure. 2. What does the fan do on Le Duo Classic? The fan on Le Duo Classic pushes air through the tiny holes covering the exterior of the tool. When curling your hair with Le Duo Classic, the section of hair that just passed through the heated titanium plates is immediately bathed in the cool air, helping to close the cuticle and lock the curl in place so it lasts longer. 3. Is there a correct way to curl with Le Duo Classic? Le Duo Classic is versatile and adaptable! There isn’t just one “correct” way to use it. We suggest finding the technique that works best for you!
