These Terms of Use apply specifically to your use of Hair Quiz and supplement our general Terms of Use. By using Hair Quiz, you agree to these Terms of Use in addition to our general Website Terms of Use. 

Hair Quiz Functionality

Hair Quiz allows you to upload (from your device) or capture an image in real time in order to generate personalized hair attributes and product recommendations. This is an online service powered by artificial intelligence that provides an illustration of potential product suitability (for example, hair care, styling, or treatment products). The output does not constitute a guarantee that the result will match your actual hair condition or outcome. 

Hair Quiz is intended for informational and product recommendation purposes only. The information generated by Hair Quiz does not replace qualified professional consultation or medical advice and should not be relied on for any medical or other determinations, decisions, or actions. 

You will have no obligation to purchase such products that are recommended or otherwise referenced through this feature and we do not guarantee the availability of any such products.  You are free not to use this service.  

Other Applicable Terms 

These Terms of Use may refer to the following additional policies, which also apply to the use of Hair Quiz:

• Hair Quiz Privacy Statement which governs the personal data we collect from you when you use Hair Quiz; and

• Our Website Privacy Policy, which governs your use of L’ange’s Website.

• If you make a purchase using recommendations from Hair Quiz, the terms of sale from the relevant retailer will apply. 

User Representations and License 

In relation to your use of Hair Quiz, you grant to us a royalty free, non-exclusive, transferrable, sub-licensable, irrevocable license to use any image that you upload to Hair Quiz for the purpose of providing you with Hair Quiz and as otherwise described in our Hair Quiz Privacy Statement. You have no right or interest in the results generated by Hair Quiz or any improvements developed from your use. 

By uploading or submitting an image, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the owner of the photo or have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it;

• No third party has any claim or rights to the photo; and 

• The photo does not infringe or violate any rights of third parties.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability 

We do not guarantee that Hair Quiz will always be available or be error-free. The results may be imprecise or vary across contexts, lighting, hair texture, and image quality. Individual results will vary. We make no representations or warranties as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability. 

These Terms of Use supplement our general Website Terms of Use, which govern the allocation and limitation of liability between you and L’ange. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability arising from your use of Hair Quiz, except as expressly provided in the Website Terms of Use. In particular, L’ange will not be liable for any inaccuracies or imperfections in Hair Quiz’s outputs, or for any reliance you place on the results. 

Amendments

We may amend the contents and information included in Hair Quiz as well as these Terms of Use, particularly for purposes of compliance with any changes in applicable legislation and/or regulations and/or to improve Hair Quiz. Any amendment shall be notified to you via Hair Quiz before becoming effective under these Terms of Use. Unless the amendment requires your express approval, your continued use of Hair Quiz shall be deemed as your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
