L’ange Hair, Inc. (“L’ange”) has instituted the following Privacy Statement related to any personal information that L’ange may obtain, possess, use, process, transfer, or store about you as a result of your use of Hair Quiz to enable product recommendations based on your specific hair type. In this Privacy Statement, “L’ange,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to L’ange Hair, Inc. and its affiliates. Information We Collect
To use the Hair Quiz, we ask you to provide us with a photograph of yourself (your “selfie”)/ selfie image of your face. We use an algorithm to analyze the selfie to detect facial geometry in order to localize and identify your hair. The Hair Quiz then evaluates the identified hair region to generate outputs, which may include hair analysis results and derived attributes (for example, your hair type that measures curl as well as evaluation of thickness, density, scalp conditions, etc.). We may also generate additional inferences from the image used to support recommendations. Certain inferences may be classified as sensitive personal information under applicable privacy laws. The hair analysis may also include observations about scalp or hair conditions (such as breakage or dandruff), which under certain privacy laws may be considered health-related information.

Purpose and Use of Information We Collect
The purpose of the collection, storage, processing, and use of personal information for Hair Quiz is to provide you with an individualized hair analysis and to generate related products for potential purchase and use and to provide us with information to improve our products and services and our methods of offering those products and services including the Hair Quiz itself. When you use the Hair Quiz, we collect and process certain data in order to deliver a better experience to you. We may use information about you to communicate with you about hair products and services; answer questions; improve your experience; provide tailored advertising, content, services, recommendations, and communications; fulfill product purchases and process payments; improve effectiveness of our websites, customer service, and offerings, including improvement of the Hair Quiz and underlying algorithm; comply with applicable laws or legal obligations; and to enforce the Terms of Use, which additionally govern and apply to your use of Hair Quiz.
Data Retention
We may retain uploaded images, your hair analysis outputs, and products recommended and purchased as long as necessary to provide the service and for the other purposes identified above. Images uploaded from Texas or users located in Texas will be deleted no later than one year after upload.
Data Storage
We use appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to store, transmit, and protect from disclosure any data used in Hair Quiz. However, no electronic data transmission or storage of information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Disclosure
We may share, disclose, or disseminate personal information with any other affiliated company or brand. We may also disclose personal information: to our service providers who help provide you with services; in connection with the sale or purchase of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding; to comply with the law or legal process; to verify or enforce our Terms of Use or other applicable policies; to respond to an emergency; or otherwise to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of third parties, visitors to our websites, or the public.
Right to Delete
