How To
  1. Start with hair that is completely dried & detangled before using VersaWaver.
  2. When initially plugged into an electrical outlet, the lights on the tool will illuminate in succession from the lowest to the highest temperature (the tool has not started heating).
  3. To begin styling, start by pushing up on the clamp lock lever-located near the bottom on the back of the handle-to open the clamp.
  4. To switch between smaller 19mm waves or larger 32mm waves, press and hold the adjuster button near the top of the backside of the handle while pinching the cool tip and turning it towards the large wave or short wave symbols on either side of the adjuster button. The arrows on the cool tip indicate which way to swivel the barrels too.
  5. To heat VersaWaver for the first time, press and hold the power icon button until a white light illuminates above 370°F.
  6. The light above the default temperature of 370°F will blink while the tool heats up. Once the tool has reached temperature, the white light above the temperature will stop blinking.
  7. To select a different temperature, press and release the power icon button until the light above your desired temperature illuminates.
  8. Apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice.
  9. Detangle and divide hair into small, manageable sections.
  10. Make sure to keep the hot plates away from your face and body.
  11. Insert a 1-2" section of hair between the plates.
  12. Starting near your roots, gently press down.
  13. Hold tool in place for approximately 5-10 seconds and release.
  14. The longer the hair is pressed, the more defined the wave will be.
  15. Continue this process down the length of your hair.
  16. Repeat on remaining sections until your desired style is achieved.
  17. Once finished, press and hold the power icon button for 3 seconds to turn OFF the tool. All lights on the handle will turn off.
  18. Unplug VersaWaver, wait until completely cooled, close the clamp and re-engage the clamp lock, and place inside Heat-Resistant Mat+Pouch before storing away.

Tip: Choose the smaller 19mm barrel for more defined looks. Choose the larger 32mm barrel for deep, cascading waves.
