 How To

Operating Instructions:

  1. Remove the cover from barrel heads before turning on.
  2. Plug the unit into an electrical outlet. 
  3. Twist the temperature control dial at the base of the handle from OFF to your desired setting (indicated by the LED light).
  4. LOW setting is ideal for fine hair, HIGH setting is best for thick/coarse/textured hair, and COOL setting is best for enhancing shine and locking in your style.
  5. Once you are finished styling, unplug brush dryer and wait until completely cooled before storing away in a dry place.
  6. How To Change Barrel Head: Before changing barrel heads, wait for the barrel head to cool completely. To remove the barrel, push down on the lever found at the back of the handle, and turn the barrel so the unlock symbol aligns with the arrow located just above the lever. To insert a new barrel, place it onto the handle, and turn until locked in place.
  7. Cleaning & Storage: To protect bristles, place the tool upright or lay over the side of the counter. After it's completely cooled, remove trapped debris with the cleaning brush and then cover with the protective cover before storing.

Styling Instructions:

  1. After washing hair, towel dry to remove excess water.
  2. Apply your L’ange heat protectant of choice.
  3. Detangle hair prior to styling.
  4. Begin styling once hair is approximately 70% dry. 
  5. Section and clip additional pieces of hair up and out of the way. 
  6. Working with a manageable section, place brush dryer underneath the hair, near the roots. 
  7. Hold for 2-3 seconds at your root, and working in a downward motion, slowly rotate the hair around the barrel of the brush dryer as you work from root to tip. 
  8. Continue until the section is dry (make sure to keep tool moving at all times). 
  9. If any sections near the root remain damp, insert brush dryer and hold for an additional 2-3 seconds, or until dry.
  10. To create soft curls or add shape to layers, hold the brush vertically and spin in place.
  11. Select the cool setting and run brush dryer through your hair to help lock-in the style.

    1. Do I get all 4 barrels when I purchase the Multi-Volume Series? No, you can choose 1 of the 4 brush head (barrel) sizes when you purchase the Multi-Volume Series. The other brush head sizes are sold separately. Add them all to your collection for superb blowout detailing 2. Will the Multi-Volume brush dryer attachments work with the previously called High Volume & Max Volume Brush Dryers? Yes, our Multi-Volume brush dryer attachments are fully compatible with the High Volume and Max Volume Brush Dryers. 3. Can I use a brush dryer on short hair? Yes! If your hair falls to your shoulders, then you may want to consider the Volume 60mm brush head. For shorter hair, consider the Volume 43mm brush head. It’s great for soft curls and styling bangs on very short hair, except pixie cuts. 4. How do I add volume near my roots? My hair lies flat. If your hair tends to lay flat on your scalp and you want to add body right at the crown, then consider the Volume 65mm teardrop-shaped brush head. The narrow end of the barrel gets comfortably close to the scalp. Then you turn your wrist to rotate the narrow end up, adding lift right at your roots. 5. What’s the best way to brush out my lengths with the brush dryer? Keep the brush moving at all times. While holding the handle with one hand, pinch the cool tip with the fingers of your other hand, and rotate the barrel as you brush through the lengths of your hair to the ends. 6. Can I use the brush dryer to style my bangs? Yes! With the Volume 43mm brush head–the smallest and newest barrel in the family–you can style bangs, tuck/flip your ends, create soft curls, and detail other shorter lengths of hair. 7. Is there a way to curl my hair with a brush dryer? Yes! The Multi-Volume Series can create soft curls when you rotate the barrel in place until you get the curl you’re looking for. 8. What barrel size is best for really long hair? For really long hair that falls past the shoulders, we recommend the Volume 75 mm brush head. It’s the largest barrel in the family and will let you style quicker as it can catch more hair with every pass. 9. Do I need to dry my hair before using a brush dryer? You should towel dry your hair until it’s at least 70% dry before beginning to use the Multi-Volume Series. 10. Is there anything I can do to the ends of my hair with a brush dryer? Yes! Use the Multi-Volume Series to tuck your ends in by rotating the barrel towards yourself. Flip your ends out by rotating the barrel away from yourself.
