- Start with hair that is completely dried and detangled before using Le Pirouette.
- When initially plugged into an electrical outlet, the lights on the tool will illuminate in succession from the lowest to the highest temperature (the tool has not started heating).
- To power on and heat Le Pirouette, press the power button for 3 seconds. The barrel will automatically center itself upon activation, and a white light will blink above the default temperature of 370°F until it reaches temperature.
- To select a different temperature, quickly press and release the power button until the light above your desired temperature begins blinking.
- Once the tool has reached temperature, the white light will become solid.
- Apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice.
- Press the thumb rest to open the clip.
- Starting 1-2 inches from your ends, insert a 0.5-1" section of hair (for best results, insert hair into the middle of the clamp).
- Press the < or > button to auto rotate the barrel in your preferred direction.
- Once the strand is wrapped, hold for approximately 5-10 seconds.
- Press the thumb rest to allow the curl to slide out from around the barrel.
- Allow the curl to cool in the palm of your hand.
- Press the home button to return the clamp back to center.
- Repeat the process on additional sections of hair until the desired style is achieved.
- Apply your finishing spray of choice and tousle to separate.
- Once you're finished styling, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn tool OFF. All lights will turn off.
- Unplug Le Pirouette and wait until completely cooled before storing away.

I am 71 years old and retired. I quit fixing my hair just because it was a lot of trouble and I’d been doing it daily for 50 years and was tired. I bought this curler on a whim and I really like it. I’ve only used it once on myself so far but the curl stayed in my straight fine hair very well. I used it this morning on my granddaughters (ages 6 and 4). They felt so pretty as they headed off to school. I do wish the twirl buttons were farther away from the release button tho. Maybe I’ll get used to it with practice.
