This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice (“Notice”) supplements our website Privacy Policy and Hair Quiz Privacy Policy. It applies to Consumer Health Data that L’ange Hair, Inc. collects in connection with your use of Hair Quiz, including with respect to residents of Washington and Nevada. In this Privacy Policy, “L’ange,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to L’ange Hair, Inc. and its affiliates.
“Consumer Health Data” as used in this Notice means any personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to you and that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status as defined in the relevant state consumer health privacy laws.

We collect the following categories of Consumer Health Data when you interact with or use Hair Quiz:

Information about your health-related conditions, such as scalp conditions or related attributes (e.g., dryness, breakage, or damage);

Facial geometry, including photographs that you provide (which may also be considered biometric information). For example, we collect and analyze an image you upload to provide you with the Hair Quiz service. These services detect facial landmarks to identify where your hair is;

Information that may reflect your interest in hair or scalp health, including your use of Hair Quiz to evaluate conditions or purchase products to address those conditions. For example, you may buy a product designed to address and improve specific scalp conditions.

Inferences drawn from your responses and image(s), such as assessments of hair type, condition, and recommended products.
Purposes of Collection of Consumer Health Data
We collect and use the Consumer Health Data we collect through Hair Quiz for the following purposes:

To provide you with personalized hair analysis, related product recommendations, and customer support regarding your use of Hair Quiz;

To operate, maintain, and improve Hair Quiz, including the automated image analysis features;

To perform internal research and analytics to improve our products and services;

Sources of Consumer Health Data
We collect Consumer Health Data:

Directly from you (i.e., information that you provide us when you interact with Hair Quiz, such as creating an account, uploading an image, reviewing and clicking on links to our product recommendations, providing information in connection with surveys or research, or otherwise during your use of Hair Quiz);

Information we observe or collect automatically from your interactions with Hair Quiz and resulting analysis, including recommended products (e.g., such as via cookies (and other similar technologies)).
Our Sharing of Consumer Health Data
In connection with the purposes described above, we disclose the categories of Consumer Health Data we collect with the following categories of third parties:

Service providers: Vendors or service providers (“processors”) working on our behalf may access Consumer Health Data to help us provide you with Hair Quiz and assist us in business operations in connection with Hair Quiz . For example, companies we’ve hired to provide technical services such as assisting in protecting and securing Hair Quiz and related systems.

Business partners and/or affiliates: We may share Consumer Health Data with other companies, for example, where you use our product recommendations to interact with another company or our affiliates.

Parties to a corporate transaction: We may disclose Consumer Health Data as part of a corporate transaction or proceeding such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution, or a transfer, divestiture, or sale of all or a portion of our business or assets.

Other Third Parties, such as Ad Networks and Advertising Companies: We may disclose Consumer Health Data (e.g., identifiers, internet and network browsing activities, commercial information, inferences) to advertising and marketing partners, to deliver tailored advertisements and measure campaign effectiveness. When you use our website to access Hair Quiz, third-party technologies such as cookies may collect information to enable interest-based and cross-device advertising. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sharing Consumer Health Data for advertising purposes.

Please note, we may change information in this Notice at any time and any changes will be effective immediately upon the publication of revisions.
Consumer Rights With Respect to Consumer Health Data
In addition to certain privacy rights as described in our general privacy policy, depending on your state of residence, you may also have the following rights with respect to your Consumer Health Data:

If we are unable to authenticate the request(s) using commercially reasonable efforts and asking for additional information, we will not be able to comply with the request.
