 How To
  1. Apply your L’ange heat protectant of choice.
  2. Flip the power toggle switch (back of handle) to turn the dryer ON. 
  3. Press the bottom button (front of handle) to select your air speed. 
  4. One Light = Low Speed | Two Lights = Medium Speed | Three Lights = High Speed
  5. Press the middle button (front of handle) to select your heat setting.
  6. One Light = Warm | Two Lights = Hot | Three Lights = High Heat  
  7. Gently rough dry hair (on lower heat) until approximately 70% dry.
  8. Next, using a higher heat setting, finish blow drying with your brush of choice.
  9. Work the brush through hair, aiming the airflow downward. 
  10. For extra volume, concentrate airflow at the roots. 
  11. Continue until your desired style is achieved. 
  12. Press the cool shot button (top button, front of handle) to lock-in your style.
  13. To turn off the cool shot, press the button once more. 

Pro Tip: Use the air concentrator for more control or the diffuser to enhance texture.

Maintenance: 

The dryer offers a self-cleaning function in which the motor reverses to expel any trapped debris, helping to preserve the life of the dryer. To access this feature, press and hold the cool shot button while the tool is off, then while holding down the cool shot button, slide the power switch on and hold until the self-cleaning turns on. Air will automatically begin to blow out of the rear air inlet for approximately 15 seconds. The self-cleaning function will stop automatically. Once completed, press any button to resume use of the dryer. Perform this action as needed to free any accumulated dust. This is recommended after every 10 hours of use.

It should be used when you’re nearly done styling to close your hair’s cuticles for long-lasting, locked-in styles. 2. What is the best heat setting for my hair? No matter your hair type, start rough drying with Le Styliste on the low heat setting until your hair is approximately 70% dry. Next, turn the dryer to a higher heat setting of your preference to complete drying. Lastly, use the cool shot setting to lock in your style. Applying a L’ange heat protectant of your choice is advisable when using this styling tool. 3. What is the best speed setting for my hair? The higher the speed of Le Styliste, the faster your hair will dry. You may want to start at the high speed setting, and then slow it down as you get closer to your desired style. 4. What is the best way to use the included concentrator and diffuser attachments? Use the air concentrator for more control, and the diffuser to enhance volume and curls. 5. Should I apply heat directly to my roots? Using the included concentrator attachment, apply heat directly to your roots if you want added volume. 6. Do I need to do anything to activate the self-cleaning or overheat protection functions? The overheat protection occurs automatically when the tool gets too hot, but you must activate the self-cleaning function.
